Why Fat Sally's? It's a bit of self-deprecating humour, but also it is a happy, jolly name that conveys the spirit at the bistro. With 12 friendly staff you can be sure that all your needs are catered for.
Fat Sally's Pub and Restaurant is located in the building that formerly housed Annie Flannagan's Irish Pub. In terms of presentation the main difference patrons will notice is the colour scheme and the furniture. The familiar dark green walls are now a light, warm cream.
Fat Sally's is the place to be when you want to enjoy a good meal and something from the Monteith's family of beers in front of an open fire in the cooler months or out in the courtyard when the weather warms up.
Facilities
Fat Sally's Pub and Restaurant is a licenced premises. It has a capacity of 150 and seating for 42. It is a great place for a secluded romantic dinner or just come in for a beer with friends.
Situated in the centre of Oamaru, Fat Sally's Pub and Restaurant is easily accessible.
Out the back is an amazing little beer garden and smoking area. This is a great place to sit in the summer months and enjoy the sun as well as the culinary and liquid delights. Whilst in the winter months you can sit inside near the roaring open fire and watch your favourite team on the big screen.
